WAIVER OF CLAIMSAND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

1. Physical Condition & Medical Authorization

I hereby certify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in the category I have selected. I am not aware of any medical condition, injury, or impairment that would be aggravated by this event. In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize the event organizers to provide or seek medical treatment, including transportation to the nearest hospital. I agree to be responsible for all costs associated with such medical care.

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that running a road race involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Dehydration, heat exhaustion, or altitude-related issues.
Traffic and road hazards (uneven pavement, debris, or vehicles).
Collisions with other participants or spectators.
Weather conditions (rain, fog, or high temperatures). I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.

3. Release and Waiver

In consideration of my entry, I, for myself and my heirs, release Aid Station Cafe, the Benguet Sports Complex, the Municipality of La Trinidad, all sponsors, and their respective officers, employees, and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising out of my participation in this event, including travel to and from the venue.

4. Media Release

I grant permission to Aid Station Cafe and its authorized agents to use my name, voice, and photographs (including the 3R Photo inclusion) or videos taken during the event for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.

5. Rules and Safety

I agree to follow all instructions from race marshals, traffic officials, and medical personnel. I understand that the race organizers reserve the right to disqualify me or remove me from the course if my conduct or physical condition is deemed a safety risk.

6. Data Privacy

I agree to the collection and processing of my personal data by Aid Station Cafe in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Usage: Your info (name, age, contact) is used for race bib assignment, timing results, emergency medical response, and fulfilling your 3R photo inclusion.

Protection: We do not sell your data. Access is restricted to event staff and official medical/timing partners.

Retention: Records will be securely stored for one year post-event, then deleted, unless you opt-in for future event updates.

Media: You consent to the use of event photos/videos featuring your likeness for promotional purposes.
